SHIPPING POLICY
Here @ The Baby Place we pretty much start packing your baby clothes or baby fashion accessory order as soon as you have placed it. Sometimes it may take a little longer, it depends just how busy we are, but we always try to get your items shipped within 48hrs of placing your order (Monday - Wednesday - Friday). Standard shipping starts from £3.60 +. We offer various shipping prices and options, and a Next Day Service, using Royal Mail, Hermes & DPD, as well as International shipping from £14. These will be offered to you at checkout and the price clearly shown so that you can make your own choice on which delivery service you prefer! If you live locally we may even be able to hand deliver to you on our way home!
All items are shipped by The Baby Place Ltd using trackable delivery. Items delivered may be left in a Safe Place, Neighbour etc at the discretion of the Delivery provider. You have the option to change your delivery/safe place etc by using your tracking details on the carrier website. All deliveries are recorded by GPS tracking and/or photograph.
The Baby Place Ltd will not be held liable for items delivered where proof of delivery has been taken i.e. GPS location and/or photograph of delivery location and parcel, and then be reported as missing/stolen. Items missing/stolen should be reported to the delivery company and Police to investigate.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Returns @ The Baby Place are easy x If you don't want what you have ordered, just fill in the returns label and ship it on back to us. As we keep our costs as low as possible to pass on to you, we cannot pay for your return delivery, but please do if possible use a tracked service for your returns as we cannot be held responsible for items that go missing or come back to us damaged.
All we ask from you is that the item/s being returned are in perfect condition, with tags and packaging still intact, and baby clothes, & socks unworn of course, and any baby gifts intact and unused. If you send back an item to us that has clearly been worn or is deemed as being unfit for re-sale, I'm afraid we won't be able to give you a full refund and may have to return the item to you. Of course if you received something that is faulty (we check and double check before shipping , but may miss a manufacturing fault on the odd occasion) just let us know via our contact page / email or chatbox and we can address the problem and either arrange an exchange or return for you.

IMPORTANT:

You have 14 days from the date of you receiving your goods to request a return of any unwanted items, then a further 14 days to return to us.

If you do not return the goods in satisfactory condition or we recieve after the 14 day period we reserve the right to part-refund or refuse refund of the returned goods.

If you cancel an order once the goods have been shipped we are unable to refund you until the items are returned to us at your own expense.

We do not pay for return postage costs, or refund the Standard shipping costs you initially paid on ordering*. We will not refund any shipping for Free Shipping orders or extra shipping costs i.e. Express / Next Day or International Delivery.
- Items returned to us as 'undelivered' will be refunded minus your original shipping charge - this fee has already been spent and cannot be refunded.
- Items returned, received by us after the 28 day (from point of delivery)agreed returns period will incur a £5 re-stocking fee
- Items returned in used/not perfect condition, minus tags and/or labels/hangers will incur a a deduction from or non-payment of your refund. We will assess the deduction depending on the condition of your returned item.
