RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Returns @ The Baby Place are easy x If you don't want what you have ordered, go to Returns and Start your Return process. Then just fill in the returns label and ship it on back to us.  As we keep our costs as low as possible to pass on to you, we cannot pay for your return delivery, but please do if possible use a tracked service or retain your shipping receipt for your returns as we cannot be held responsible for items that go missing or come back to us damaged.

 

All we ask from you is that the item/s being returned are in perfect condition, with tags and packaging still intact, and baby clothes, & socks unworn of course, and any baby gifts intact and unused.  If you send back an item to us that has clearly been worn or is deemed as being unfit for re-sale, I'm afraid we won't be able to give you a full refund and may have to return the item to you.  Of course if you received something that is faulty (we check and double check before shipping , but may miss a manufacturing fault on the odd occasion) just let us know via our contact page / email or chat box and we can address the problem and either arrange an exchange or return for you.

 

  • IMPORTANT:

  • You have 14 days from the date of you receiving your goods to notify us of your request to return any unwanted items, then a further 14 days to ship the item back to us.
  • If you do not return the goods in satisfactory condition or we recieve the item after the 14 day period, we reserve the right to part-refund or refuse refund of the returned goods.

  • If you cancel an order once the goods have been shipped we are unable to refund you until the items are returned to us at your own expense.

  • We do not pay for return postage costs, or refund the Standard shipping costs you initially paid on ordering. We will not refund any shipping for Free Shipping orders or extra shipping costs i.e. Express / Next Day or International Delivery. If an order that qualified for Free Delivery is returned in full the minimum shipping cost of £4.69 will be deducted from your refund 

  • Please allow time for your goods to arrive back with us. We will then check the items and issue your refund if requested. You will receive an email notifying you of the Refund.  Please allow 3-5 days for the refund to show back in your account. For Paypal refunds the amount may show as Pending in your account for anything up to 14 days, it will then clear and be made available to you - Please Note: We have no control over how long Paypal take to clear your funds.

  • FAULTY ITEMS - We check all items before shipping - If you feel and item has a Fault or is Damaged on arrival, Please notify us within 48 hrs of Delivery - we may ask you to send us a photo before arranging a return or refund.

GIFT CARDS:

When you purchase an Online E-Gift Card from The Baby Place -

Your Gift Card is Valid for 12 months from the Date of Purchase (in certain circumstances this can be extended for a further 12 months - please contact our Customer Service team who will do their best to help)

We Do Not give Cash Refunds for Gift Card purchases.

Gift Cards do not have to be used in one go - the balance will remain on your Gift Card if you wish to purchase on more than one occasion.

Returned items when purchasing a Gift Card - No Cash Refunds will be issued for returned items.  Your refund will be returned to your Gift Card Balance to use  at a later date.
